About Rashawn Brewington, MSN, PMHNP-BC

My goal is to walk alongside you as you build resilience and well-being.

Hello, I’m Rashawn, a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP). I provide compassionate, individualized care, meeting people where they are in their mental health journey and working alongside them to create a path toward healing, growth, and resilience. My approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and centered on respecting each client’s unique experiences and goals.

Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked in pre-hospital emergency medical services, the emergency department, and critical care nursing. These experiences gave me a strong foundation in caring for individuals during their most vulnerable moments and instilled in me a deep respect for first responders and those facing crisis. They continue to shape my understanding of high-stress professions and inform my commitment to creating a safe, supportive therapeutic space.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric-Mental Health from Purdue University. My training allows me to provide both medication management and supportive interventions tailored to each person’s needs.

Originally from New Mexico, I moved to Colorado in 2011 and quickly fell in love with this beautiful state. My husband and I are raising two children, along with our two dogs and a variety of other animals. We enjoy spending time outdoors, camping, exploring, gardening, and simply enjoying family life at home.

I am committed to lifelong learning, both professionally and personally, and consider it an honor to partner with clients as they work toward mental wellness.
