THE TEAM

The people behind the practice.

Six psychiatric clinicians. Each one was chosen for how they practice — not just their credentials.

Dr. Kailee Lenczycki, DNP, PMHNP-BC, PMH-C

OWNER & FOUNDER

Kailee founded Present Life to deliver the kind of care she'd been trained to give but rarely had time for in the standard model. Her clinical focus is reproductive psychiatry — supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, and the perinatal transition, including medication consideration during pregnancy and lactation. She's PMH-C credentialed through Postpartum Support International, has over 15 years in mental health, and is a mother herself — which shapes how she shows up for the patients she sees.

Rashawn Brewington, MSN, PMHNP-BC

NURSE PRACTITIONER

Rashawn specializes in care for first responders and others in high-stress professions — a focus shaped by her own clinical background in pre-hospital EMS, emergency, and critical care. She also works closely with adolescents, bringing the same practical, no-judgment approach to younger patients navigating hard things. She understands the operational reality of shift work, the things you can’t talk about outside the job, and what medication decisions look like when alertness and judgment are part of the work. Her approach is collaborative and evidence-based, with deep respect for the patients who walk in.

Heather Daigle, MMS, PA-C, PMH-C

PHYSICIAN ASSOCIATE

Heather focuses on trauma, pediatric psychiatry, and integrative psychiatry — supporting children, teens, and the complex trauma cases most practices don't take on. Her integrative approach combines mind-body considerations with evidence-based treatment, including published research on CBD use. With 29 years of medical experience and 13 in psychiatry across inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community settings, she brings depth and specificity to each visit — and she's equally comfortable talking with the child, the teenager, and the caregivers.

Kathleen “Kat” Haffeman, MSN, PMHNP-BC

NURSE PRACTITIONER

Kat specializes in neurodivergence and OCD — adult ADHD, autism, and the layered presentations that often get missed or misdiagnosed. Her approach is holistic: she looks beneath the symptom to the sleep, stress, and context most psychiatric providers skip. With 17+ years of broader nursing experience across emergency, critical care, and primary care, Kat brings a wider clinical lens than most — and she's the clinician who'll ask about your life, not just your symptoms.

Amanda Taylor, MSN, PMHNP-BC

NURSE PRACTITIONER

Amanda focuses on adult ADHD — including the layered, missed, or misdiagnosed presentations that often get written off as anxiety or depression. As an Army veteran and former emergency and inpatient psychiatric nurse, she brings a practical, grounded approach to care that respects the full picture of a patient's life. Her practice pairs evidence-based treatment with genuine curiosity — expect a visit that considers your history, lifestyle, and goals together, not just the diagnosis in front of you.

Krista Bedells, MSN, PMHNP-BC

NURSE PRACTITIONER

Krista provides virtual care for adults across Illinois — anxiety, ADHD, depression, difficult life transitions, and the general work of emotional wellness. Her practice is partnership-based: she helps patients reconnect with themselves, find clarity, and take practical steps that actually fit their lives. With 15+ years of nursing experience across diverse settings, she brings a steady, authentic presence that doesn't take itself too seriously.
